When the idea came to me to photograph Mr. Blackbird, I went into the garden with my camera, and suddenly the blackbird flew in, even though him hadn't been seen for a long time. Mr. Blackbird perched on a branch, as if the photo shoot had been prearranged; he positioned himself perfectly, and I was able to photograph him.
